There could be tensions rising within the Maybach Music Group if Meek Mill's recent tweets are any indication. As we reported yesterday, the MMG rapper announced a release date for his forthcoming album Dreams Worth More Than Money. He was heavily promoting it on Twitter, and undoubtedly some of his MMG counterparts followed suit– except one. Wale.
Meek Mill took to the public forum to call out Wale for his lack of help in promoting Dreams Worth More Than Money, and even went so far as to call him a "cornball" and use the hashtag #UNOTMMG. Preceding his diss tweet at Wale, Meek tweeted, "When u young and successful..U experience a different type of racism.and it brings jealousy, hate & a new level of people tryna bring u down," thus alluding that Wale is jealous of Meek's success. "Wale just ain't gone tweet a thing about my album…. He's been hating on me long time now …don't even text me cornball! #UNOTMMG," Meek said of Wale.
Could this result in full blown beef between the two MMG signees?
We've included a screen shot of the tweets in the gallery above because, you know, things get deleted in the Twittersphere. You can also read the Philly native's series of tweets below.
